A long, well written praise of the Worker Drone Queen courtesy of The Styrofoam Drone.
“Troubling shoegaze-psych bubbles and pops in a smoking cauldron, swirling around endlessly in a violent motion just like the haunting, repetitive nature of each of their songs. Hidden in the depths of this perpetual downward spiral are all sorts of jarring, metallic noise attacks that will leave you cringing in the midst of the wicked bliss.Everything about their sound and their aesthetic absolutely suggests a dark and threatening underworld, plagued by a wrathful, spiteful rage that will never feel any remorse for the torment it has caused.”

In sweden we call em Rulltårta, The Blog Jelly Roll for your Earhole apparently likes both sweets and the Worker Drone Queen EP:
“I for one find their norse-ish take on gothic grunge refreshingly vintage, rather than derivatively retro. Their plodding tempos seem designed to provide no more BPMs than a bong-addled brain can process. The guitar sound is trés garagey and the grooves stomp like boots ankle-deep in mud. Despite this, the effect is much perkier and energizing than you might expect.”

“I must imagine fans of Suicide, Singapore Sling and My Bloody Valentine shall easily dig these guys. Personally I found their gloomily reverberated sound to be most refreshing” Click the pick to get to the post

Very nice word From the blog Noise in the Zen Arcade: “they play a sinister, churning sort of psychedelic music. This is a band with a very well-developed sense of craft for this type of music. I’ve been listening to this EP repeatedly, the riffs have stayed firmly implanted in my brain, and I don’t want them to leave.” Click the pic to get the full story!
